A Luxurious take on Bohemian Wedding Inspiration

A luxurious take on Bohemian Wedding Inspiration.  This styled shoot is for the bride who loves a little luxury.  Dayna from Strawberry Weddings and Events is an absolute expert in the wedding industry.  During her years of planning weddings, she discoverd a hidden gem in the Western Cape, situated between vineyards, olive groves and plum orchards.  When you enter La Residence Hotel in Franschoek, you’ll be greeted by glittering Indian chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceiling, original artwork and huge mirrors gracing the walls.  Dayna and her team of service providers used luxurious bohemian decor to fit the theme of the venue.  A huge trend of 2019, that will most probably continue in 2020, is dried floral.  These flower arrangements went perfectly with the elegant antiques to create a feeling of ultimate luxury and sophistication.

What was the inspiration behind this styled shoot?

The inspiration for the photoshoot was for a group of female entrepreneurs in the wedding industry to come together to showcase our talent.   As the wedding industry can seldom become very competitive, the photoshoot was to convey the message that we should all be working together rather than against each other.

Our inspiration was to showcase the very trending bohemian wedding theme by adding a luxurious take on “bohemian beauty.”

Our color choices were a clean palette with natural browns, nudes, and gold.  We also included a pop of coral to soften the overall look and feel.  We incorporated dried arrangements as they are the biggest trend in the wedding industry at the moment.

The Venue:

La Residence is a luxurious estate nestled in the heart of the Franschhoek Winelands.  Not many bridal clients are aware of this hidden gem.  La Residence is suitable for our luxury bridal clients.  We wanted to inspire bridal clients to get out of their comfort zone.  We want to motivate them to push boundaries and choose a wedding venue that stands out from the rest.
