The picturesque South of France Wedding of Benoit & Christelle. This couple got married in Barjols, a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France. The story behind the Wedding Dress:

I tried on 4 or 5 dresses before finding the one I saw in my dreams. It is from Cymbeline Store in Marseille, France and has been designed by Pronovias Barcelona. It was such an emotional moment I had the chance to share with my 3 bridesmaids.

Engagement Story:

It is quite a surprising engagement story! I (Christelle) decided to ask Benoit to marry me during a casual date night without having discuss about mariage before that moment. He was surprised but … you know the answer !

Favourite Wedding Memory:

The most important for us was to be able to share this amazing day with our beautiful daughter, our families and friends. For Benoit and all of the guests, one of the best moments was when Christelle sang the beautiful French song Je vais t’aimer to her husband.

The couple’s advice to other couples:

Just fully enjoy the day. Don’t worry about things that could go wrong. And trust all of your providers.

The Wedding Venue:

We were both born and raised in this charming small town of South of France so it was obvious to us that our wedding would take place here. We needed a venue big enough to welcome all of our guests and this one in Barjols was perfect on all points.

Decor Inspiration:

Rose Pale. It was a perfect and elegant colour. I would say we wanted our decor to be simple, elegant, sweet, blushy, whispering and delicious. That’s why we chose pink pale as our main colour. And for the pleasure of our guest, candy bars were arranged around the diner tables. We kept things simple.

Surprise wedding cake:

We wanted to be surprised so we didn’t choose – not even taste – our wedding cake. It was a surprise for our guests and for us as well ! It turned out to be a beautiful heart shaped wedding cake.

Musical Choices:

We wanted to start the first dance just the two of us and then, let our friends join us so we went with a Mambo and Jazz dance mix. For the rest of the night, just a mix of all the songs we love. We danced until the early hours of the morning.
