The Romantic Italian Wedding of Bianca & Scott. We love Italy and everything Italian at Vivacious Weddings. It’s one of the most picturesque places in the world with so much culture, amazing people and awesome food. Bianca & Scott’s wedding was much more than just a wedding. It was a three-day family reunion. Villa Vignamaggio Greve In Chianti Tuscany was the location they tied the knot at. This magical wedding destination will amaze you with its beautiful landscapes and architecture.
Rossana from TheKnotInItaly was their wedding planner. TheKnotInItaly is a professional wedding planner specializing in luxury weddings and events in Italy and France. We love her work. When you read through today’s wedding, you will totally understand. All the different elements, from the decor, colour palette and all the finer detail like the wedding stationery blended so well together.
Italy based wedding photographer, Matteo Crescentini photographed this couple’s wedding. We love his photography style. He captured every moment of this couples wedding day so well. Now we get to share their special day with you.
Bianca and Scott’s wedding was a celebration with family and friends. They got The Troubadors band to make music and get their guests dancing the night away. For their honeymoon, the couple travelled to Italy and the south. Something that’s on our bucket list of things to do. Enjoy this lovely couples special wedding day.
The story behind the wedding dress:
When I sent to my mum and my planner the wedding I choose they were both surprised. They were both expecting me to do something totally different in style and approach. I wanted to look classy and simple. When I saw it I immediately knew that it was my one. Not too traditional but in style with the venue as well as with my Italian origins.
Engagement Story:
We first met when 11 years ago, Scott was 19 and Bianca 17 we both attended the same school but it wasn’t until we both left school and was set up by two of our friends James and Ella that we finally got together. Broke up after a few years of dating, Bianca went travelling around south east Asia and Australia and Scott finished his qualifications, 6 years later we came back together, timing is everything. Then we got engaged at home before Scott whisked me off for a flight to Dubrovnik where we eat lots
Advice to other couples planning their wedding:
First of all book your venue in a due advance. Plan a trip and visit personally to each venue. Hire a professional helping you in finding the right place and put together the right vendors. Rossana from the KnotInItaly has been our fairy-godmother for 10 months.
Wedding Colours and Decor:
We want to keep it simple and elegant. Both of us loved the Tuscan vibes of the eucalyptus and aromantic herbs our wedding planner placed on the table. The ceremony setting was amazing with rustic vintage chairs from the villa and just simple leaves tied up.
Rossana from TheKnotInItaly was really helpful in mixing together without overproducing all our ideas of decor and Italian tradition. We loved also the family portraits idea on the trees in the reception area to celebrate all our friends and families.
Venue Choice:
Myself and Scott love three things- Food, Good Wine and Good Company, when we visited Vignamaggio it was clear that it the venue had all of these qualities.
The Wedding Cake:
We wanted to have a typical Italian wedding cake millefoglie! A show cooking amazing all our guests.
Musical Choices:
The Troubadors are a french riviera band and we cannot thank them enough for making our stay so special. They plaid all dinner stopping by each table and entertain our guests! In the end, we were all dancing together under the trees and the romantic fairy lights of the decor. After dinner, we had a DJ set.
