Proposal:

It was the weekend after my Birthday and he told me we are going away for the weekend, at this moment I didn’t know where to and I didn’t suspect anything as I knew its for my Birthday. We finally arrived and I already felt spoiled. The employees were so friendly and we felt home. They upgraded our room to the Honeymoon suite with no extra charge and at this moment I should’ve known. The next day he told me I have a surprise for you and I should meet him at the spa in an hour.

I thought Couples massages here we come. As soon as I entered he stood there, blindfolding me and leading me to the outside garden. It was just roses everywhere and champagne and a picnic basket. It was just beautiful and so perfect. He then then took my hands, telling me how I’m his entire world and then I knew, this is it. He got down on one knee and asking me to be his wife forever, and at this moment I felt like the luckiest girl ever!

Engagement location and inspiration:

Sanbonani Hotel Resort and Spa, Hazyview, South Africa.  I’ve been begging to go this place for my birthday for the whole year long, as I like to try and see new places in my Country. He couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location.

Engagement ring:

He chose it all by himself, which is huge because I’m quite picky with everything and he felt like it was the hardest decision ever. But he did one perfect job, I was in love with it the moment I saw it. He just knows me too well.

The Wedding:

We had the perfect date (29August 2020) but recently our plans had to change due to the world pandemic we are currently going through. Our hearts are broken as we are just so excited to start our lives together. We might have a small celebration at the end of the year and our perfect wedding day in 2021. We just cant wait to get married to each other.
