We absolutely fell in love with this wedding theme. The warm colour pallet really gives it such a romantic and very cosy feel. Dried out floral designs mixed with delegated fresh flowers work so well together. It’s the contrast between the two that works so well. Al the different elements work so perfectly together. From the gorgeous wedding stationery, a stunning wedding gown, decor and wedding cake. It just works together and creates this magical feast for the eyes!
Enjoy this gorgeous bespoke virtual elopement inspiration below that the talented Hulle Media photographed so well. If you love it as much as we do, please share it on social media and tag Vivacious Weddings. Remember to also use the hashtag #vivaciouswedding
Floral Design:
For the floral design, we wanted to create a piece that has lots of texture, that ties in with the warm earthy colour tones and that is trendy yet still luxury. We used dried florals as well as fresh florals and this was designed in high arrangements to achieve the luxury feel.
Décor:
The décor we used was to highlight more or the natural earthy tones. We used a dark wooden table as our primary base to build our colour pallet on. Then we had the napkins and the chairs as our secondary colours to bring life to the design and we added the softer shades of browns through the candles and the dinner plates. We complimented this design with terracotta and off white colour menu cards. The uniquely shaped dinner plates, various sizes of candles and differently shaped stationery brought texture to the table setting. This allowed us to achieve the trendy yet luxury feel we were aiming for in the overall look.
While most would pair dried floral or Pampas grass with a more bohemian style dress, we still wanted to keep a timeless look while being different in our pairing. Thus we went with a gown that has a beautifully soft bottom flair but a statement sleeve and flattering top.
Have the wedding of your dreams:
We want to share these few words from our friend at Elli-Nicole because we share the same sentiments. It is one of the main reasons why we put this Virtual Elopement together. “Your wedding should be just as elaborate as your wedding would’ve been, don’t downplay it, you deserve a celebration”. You can still have the wedding that you both have dreamed of, this pandemic shouldn’t keep you back from having your fairy tale, have the dramatic ceremony set-up, walk down the aisle in your beautiful designer gown, cut that cake made especially for you two, have that first dance and toast with your guests while they join in online to witness your celebration.
