Cheyenne & Salieu’s Watercolor Garden Styled Shoot in California. This gorgeous styled wedding inspiration was a collaboration between talented wedding vendors from California’s central valley. Goodstock Productions and Wildflower Bride were leading the effort to get the shoot going. The talented photographer, Captured by Aleena photographed these beautiful images.

There’s so much detail in this styled shoot that we love. From Cheyenne’s gorgeous silk wedding dress that showcases her natural beauty to the details in the wedding decor. The decor had a minimalist feel to it, however, there are so many different textures used. Floral designs were in shades of crisp white, dusty blue, and green. All the different elements blended in so well. Make-up, hair, the gorgeous wedding cake, the stunning wedding stationery designs. With smaller weddings becoming more trendy, this is the perfect example of how you can have a stunning small wedding.

The inspiration behind this styled shoot:

This shoot was an amazing collaboration between a creative collective of vendors local to California’s central valley.

Goodstock Productions and Wildflower Bride spearheaded the effort. With inspirations of the eclectic garden, modern boho, and edgy classic paving our way. Letting nature guide the way, we played with tones of green and blue. Lots of plant friends, and all-around organic vibes!

Wildflower Bride’s main focus is bridal hair & makeup for unique nature elopements, while Goodstock’s specialty is striking that perfect balance of coordinating extreme details for a wedding that appears effortless.

Sweet and sassy. Understated but creative, classic yet interesting, the perfect event is all about vision, purpose, and balance. This was such a fun way to play with new ideas and build lasting relationships in our industry!

Tell us more about the floral designs?

Our florals were created by Lynda of 5 Daughters Design. They featured both delicate and statement blooms in crisp white, dusty blue, and green.

Wedding Dress:

For Cheyenne, we chose silk, bias cut, slip dress- something unfussy that would showcase her natural beauty… and for an edgy kick that would compliment her personality, we added a fringed, lace, choker, capelet.

These two pieces, by different designers- never intended to be worn together, seamlessly came together for a look that was 100% Cheyenne!

Location:

We’ve worked with In Season Market and Nursery many times for past events and love their space!. In addition to offering a variety of home and landscape plants, they also have established fruit trees on-site. An in-ground veggie and herb garden. Espresso Cafe, and a gift shop featuring local artists and makers. The season has not only become a community staple in Stockton, California. It is an urban oasis that can easily be transformed into a perfect wedding backdrop.

Decor:

Shooting in a gorgeous nursery space like In Season, we went with minimalist designs. Designs that flowed organically with the plant life around us. It’s important to us that we convey the connection and personality of our couples. We make sure that the decor always complements, rather than overpowers them. With this in mind, we included lots of succulents, foliage, and candles on the tables. We created a custom watercolor ceremony backdrop that complimented the cake design.

Advice to couples planning their wedding:

Stay true to yourselves and do what makes you happy. Of course, every family/culture/religion has traditions, but remember that this is your day. You only get it once, and you deserve to make it your own. Get creative, shake things up, go big, go micro, go elope… just make sure that you go your own way!

Also, ask for help! There are a million things to do, and you shouldn’t have to/can’t do them all yourselves. We event professionals exist for a reason!

And remember- cousins, friends, and co-workers love you. Give them some small jobs and let them be useful. 🙂
