Oh my, we are thrilled to share this modern countryside wedding of Liarese & Jaco with you on Vivacious Weddings. This couple had the most beautiful modern farm wedding in Kimberley, in the Northern Cape. Surrounded by the beauty of the surrounding area, one could only expect this couple’s wedding to be one you will see published on Vivacious Weddings. Talented wedding photographer, Elani from Reflective Photography capture every single memory into the most captivating images.
Liarese, the bride, looked breathtakingly beautiful in her designer wedding gown. We love off-the-shoulder detail and how the wedding dress sits perfectly around her waist and flows down at the back creating a slay feel to the wedding dress. Jaco, the groom, had an all-black wedding suit on with a white shirt underneath. This created that contrast between the earthy aesthetic of the farm landscapes and the formal appearance of his suit.
When it comes to their wedding decor, they wanted to keep things simple. They went for a more minimal colour approach, using earthy colours and touches of gold, like their gold cutlery and modern thin candle holders. Everything else is shades of white and cream, which work so well with their wedding decor vision. Dried-out grass was used as centrepieces on their wedding tables with a couple of fresh roses.
After tying the knot, this couple went on their honeymoon to the beautiful island of Mauritius. This is every girl’s dream honeymoon destination and a very popular honeymoon destination for South African couples to travel to. Engagement Story:
We got engaged early in the morning of the 29th of January 2022, on our jogging route, under a Camel Tree on the farm.
Wedding Dress:
My stunning wedding dress was made by Fynbos Bridal Boutique in Pretoria. I was very unsure about how my dress should look. They helped me every step of the way to the PERFECT wedding dress!.
The Venue:
Bella Cardi felt at home. We loved the nature surrounding us.
Advice to couples planning their wedding:
Stick to what you first decided on (colour schemes, wedding cake, dress, venue, etc.). This is YOUR wedding day, don’t let others influence your choices.
Wedding Colours and Inspiration behind them:
Blue and Earthy colours. We didn’t want a very colourful wedding but something more neutral.
The inspiration behind the wedding decor:
The nature. Most of the wedding floral designs were grasses we got from the farm.
Wedding Cake:
Our wedding cake was baked and decorated by my Mother (the Bride’s Mother) and two friends.
Musical choices:
Walking down the aisle – I Choose You by Ryan Darling. For our first dance, we chose “Gebore om by jou te wees” by Juan B.
Honeymoon:
Unbelievable!!! We were in Mauritius, enough said …
