How long after I submitted a submission request will I know if my submission is approved?

 

Within 2 weeks.  If you have not heard back from Vivacious Weddings within 2 weeks of submitting your submissions, your submission is automatically declined.

 

Do you have an exclusivity policy?

 

Yes, we do.  We ask nicely, do not submit content to another blog or magazine within 2 weeks of submitting it to Vivacious Weddings.   This allows us time to decide whether we would like to publish it or not.  If we do approve your submission, you are now allowed to publish it on another blog or magazine within 90 days after it was published on Vivacious Weddings.  We would like to give our readers content that is unique and fresh.  If we notice that approved content is published on another blog or magazine, we will cancel the submission before it is published on Vivacious Weddings and if it was already published on Vivacious Weddings, we will un-publish the publication.

 

How long after my submission is approved will it take to get published?

 

This all depends on the deadlines sent in your approval e-mail.  If we receive all the required answers as well as imagery before the deadline and or on time.  Then your submission might be published within 2 to 4 weeks from the deadline date.

 

My submission is approved – Do I need permission from the photographer to publish their images?

 

Yes.  This is something we are very strict about.  We will not accept images from anyone else than the official photographer who photographed the wedding, proposal, engagement, styled shoot, stationery designs, advice feature, or any other content that we approved to be featured on Vivacious Weddings.  If we did not receive the images directly from the photographer, your submission will be cancelled.

 

My submission is approved – How many images would you need for the publication?

 

This will be indicated in your approval e-mail.  However, you can have a look at the image quantity guideline below.

Weddings – Minimum 80 images | Maximum 200 images.
Proposals – Minimum 50 images | Maximum 120 images.
Engagement Sessions – Minimum 50 images | Maximum 120 images.
Styled Shoot – -Minimum 50 images | Maximum 120 images.

 

My submission is approved – Who should answer the questions?

 

Weddings – We only accept answers directly from the couple and no one else.
Proposals – We only accept answers directly from the couple and no one else.
Engagement Sessions – We only accept answers directly from the couple and no one else.
Styled Shoot – We only accept answers directly from the person who coordinated and organized the styled shoot and no one else.
