Wedding Gown:

The bridal vault out of Jamestown, CA provided 2 dresses. We chose 2 different styled dresses. One was a ballgown style with layers of tulle. The other was an a-line style with a classic design on the bodice. Hair and makeup were done by Summer of Wildflower Bride

The inspiration behind this styled shoot:

The inspiration behind this shoot was Venue 833. It is a new venue in Modesto, CA with a black, gold, and white theme. When we walked into the venue we immediately got a classic, vintage vibe.  Especially from the color scheme to the staircase and the texture on the walls.  We decided to create a styled shoot with The Great Gatsby theme and modernize it.  That’s why we added a celestial vibe.

Floral Design Inspiration:

The floral design was created by forever peaceful events out of Sacramento, CA.  She designed a bouquet, boutonniere, and table centerpiece.  She also designed the piece for the moon backdrop which doubled as the reception piece at the sweetheart table or cake table.

The Venue:

We chose the venue because it was a new local venue that hadn’t been seen before. We really wanted to create a connection with other local vendors.  To help promote each other and connect on another level.

Decor and Styling:

The decor was rented from Kylie Dawn Events, Event Collection, and Extravagant Events By MG. The ceremony featured a large, wooden, golden moon with floral work hanging on the moon. The reception featured a large, black, metal moon to display the cake.

The cake was designed by Jazzie’s Sweets out of Modesto, CA. The cake topper was designed by Jill Prettyman of Be Something New. The sweetheart table and backdrop were provided by Kylie Dawn Events and featured hanging stars, black candles, and white and gold dishware.

The mobile Mixologist created custom beverages for our couple featuring a moon made from edible spray paint. The couple chose a vintage getaway car to end their night and wave goodbye to their guests.
