Anna H from the Pretty Blog really outdone herself on this one! Janca and Reinhardt had their dream wedding at EX Nihilo between the lush Simonsberg mountains in the Western Cape. The venue’s fresh and modern design, together with the couple’s vision and Anna H’s wedding planning skills made this wedding absolutely spectacular! From the bride’s dress to the stationery and furniture as well as the venue’s effortless beauty, all complimented the overall look and feel of their stylish and elegant wedding day. And to round it all off, the couple had a luxurious honeymoon at Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius.

Engagement Story:

My husband and I were high school sweethearts and had been dating for 9 years at the time of our engagement. We were at his house, reading old love letters and listening to mixed CD’s we made each other. While reminiscing, laughing and falling in love all over again he popped the question.

Favorite Wedding Memory:

The moment I walked down the aisle, we locked eyes and both of us started crying. It was as if the world had stopped and it was just him and I. Both of us knew this will be forever, us against the world.

The story behind the wedding dress:

My wedding dress was the first thing I bought. I followed the Enzoani designs for some time and I knew that I liked the way that style of dresses fits. Then I found Brides of Somerset on the internet and was delighted to see that they carry the range. In the end, I only fitted 2 dresses and immediately fell in love with the one I chose. Wedding Colors & Decor:

Ultraviolet / Navy /Dark deep red/ Soft blush

We chose deep moody colors – to highlight the Vintage and Boho feel. Old-world charm. These colors also contributed to an elegant and stylish feel. The Soft Blush not only complimented these colors but also brought the Romantic element to life.

We wanted a Romantic-Vintage feel with a dash of Boho and modern industrial elements for our décor.

The Wedding Venue:

The Venue was a 100 % match for what we wanted

to achieve with our wedding. The setting is breath-taking, and the different possibilities offered at the Venue made it so much more convenient.

Wedding Cake:

We decided not to have a wedding cake but instead had Wine and Vow ceremony. However, we had 2 of our favorite Beyerskloof wines placed into beautiful personalized wine boxes for our 1^st and 5^th anniversary. We wrote vows for both anniversaries and placed them inside the boxes before we closed them.

Musical Choices:

We asked family and friends to send us music that they loved and reminded them of us. Together we made our playlist with music ranging from the 60 till now! We wanted to include people in our music selection
